un sistema desarrollado para producir energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica a partir de redes hidr\u00e1ulicas, basado en una innovadora turbina hidr\u00e1ulica patentada.<br \/>\nEl sistema PRS combina las funcionalidades de las v\u00e1lvulas de regulaci\u00f3n (control de presi\u00f3n y caudal) con las de una turbina hidr\u00e1ulica (producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda), transformando la energ\u00eda hidr\u00e1ulica excedente \u2014normalmente disipada\u2014 en energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica limpia, con cero emisiones de CO\u2082 y sin consumo adicional de suelo ni de agua.<br \/>\nDesarrollado originalmente por WECONS, el sistema PRS permite regular en tiempo real los par\u00e1metros hidr\u00e1ulicos de la red aguas abajo (presi\u00f3n o caudal), respetando las necesidades del servicio investigaci\u00f3n, ensayos experimentales y simulaciones fluidodin\u00e1micas, realizadas tambi\u00e9n dentro de la Universidad de Palermo, que han permitido el desarrollo de un producto con un grado de madurez sin precedentes.<\/p>\n<p>El n\u00facleo del sistema es una turbina de flujo cruzado en presi\u00f3n, dise\u00f1ada para operar de manera eficiente incluso en presencia de una amplia variabilidad de caudales y presiones, como ocurre habitualmente en las redes de abastecimiento de agua.<\/p>\n<p>La turbina en la que se basa el sistema PRS deriva de las turbinas Cross-flow, a las que se ha a\u00f1adido un \u00f3rgano de regulaci\u00f3n espec\u00edficamente desarrollado, con el objetivo de reproducir las caracter\u00edsticas funcionales de las v\u00e1lvulas de regulaci\u00f3n (Q\u2013P), obteniendo elevadas prestaciones, simplicidad constructiva y fiabilidad operativa.<\/p>\n<p>El sistema de regulaci\u00f3n mejora la funcionalidad y maximiza la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda recuperable.<br \/>\nEl sistema combina las funcionalidades de las v\u00e1lvulas de regulaci\u00f3n (control de presi\u00f3n y caudal) con las de una turbina hidr\u00e1ulica
